K&B Candle Collection began with an unexpected spark—and a friendship.
Several years ago, one of our dear friends and work colleague invited us over for a candle-making lesson. She generously shared her knowledge and welcomed us into a hobby she loved, never knowing she was inspiring the beginning of K&B Candle Collection.
Karen left that day inspired.
I left with something different. I loved spending time with two wonderful friends, but I didn't realise then that the experience had planted a seed that would grow years later.
While life moved on, Karen's passion for candle making never faded. She continued creating candles from home, sharing them with family, friends and work colleagues. Every Christmas and special occasion, her handmade candles brought joy to the people around her.
Four years later, that passion was still burning brightly.
Karen dreamed of turning her hobby into something bigger, but wasn't sure where to begin. That's where I came in.
I believed in Karen's talent and knew these candles deserved to be shared with more people. Together, we decided to take the leap. We learned everything from the ground up—building a brand, creating a website, and bringing our vision to life, one step at a time.
Today, every candle is still handcrafted on the Gold Coast with the same care, passion and attention to detail that first inspired us all those years ago.
K&B Candle Collection is more than a business to us. It's a reminder that sometimes the best journeys begin with friendship, a little courage, and believing in someone else's dream.
