K&B Candle Collection began with a friendship, a shared curiosity, and a candle-making lesson that changed everything.
Several years ago, one of our dear friends and work colleague invited us into her home for a candle-making lesson. She generously shared her knowledge and welcomed us into a hobby she loved, never knowing she was inspiring the beginning of K&B Candle Collection.
As two busy Gold Coast mums, we know that home is more than just a place—it's where you unwind, reconnect and create memories with the people you love. We also know how important fragrance is. Like many people, we're sensitive to overpowering scents, so we set out to create home fragrances that are beautifully balanced, elegant and never overwhelming.
Our vision was simple: to help every home have it's own signature scent.
While life moved on, Karen's passion for candle making never faded. She continued creating candles from home, sharing them with family, friends and work colleagues. Every Christmas, birthday and special occasion, her handmade candles became gifts that friends and family looked forward to receiving.
Four years later, that passion was still burning brightly.
Karen dreamed of turning her hobby into something bigger but wasn't sure where to begin. That's where I came in.
I believed in Karen's talent and knew these fragrances deserved to be experienced beyond our family and friends. Together, we decided to take the leap. We learned everything from the ground up—building a brand, creating a website, and bringing our vision to life one step at a time.
Today, every candle, diffuser and room spray is still handcrafted on the Gold Coast using premium ingredients, carefully measured recipes and the same attention to detail that first inspired us all those years ago. It's our way of ensuring that when you fall in love with a fragrance, you can enjoy the same beautiful experience every time you return.
Our signature candles are finished with thoughtfully selected crystals, each chosen to symbolise qualities such as calm, love, strength, clarity and positivity. They are a meaningful reminder to slow down, be present, and enjoy the little moments that make a house feel like home.
K&B Candle Collection is more than a business to us. It's a reminder that sometimes the best journeys begin with friendship, a little courage, and believing in someone else's dream.
